Shell & TI Construction in Canada

Goal - delivery of a 130,000 sq ft R&D office space in Burlington, Ontario

Completed - January 2001

Project Responsibilities - site search and selection, negotiations of basic lease terms, presentation of lease and construction costs for executive approval, lease negotiation, design management, exterior and interior construction management, fitout of entire interior and move management.

Project Specifications

Exterior Shell - 7 story concrete pour with curtain glass. This building was equiped with a heat recovery unit, redundant communications access, heated sidewalks and full generator backup.

Interior - open plan with 100% Steelcase cubicles. The interior was designed with 3 computer labs protected by UPS and FM200 gas. Other site features included a Tech Support call center, training room, complete gym, lunchroom and security system.
