R&D Office in Bay Area

Goal - delivery of a 95,500 sq ft office space in Palo Alto, CA

Completed - October 1996

Project Responsibilities - site search and selection, negotiations of basic lease terms, presentation of lease and construction costs for executive approval, lease negotiation, design management, management of exterior completion, interior construction management, fitout of entire interior and move management.

Project Specifications

Exterior - Conversion of a 1963 concrete "gun slot" window exterior to a more modern stucco finish. The entire roof and all walls were replaced. The interior was demolished except for the flooring.

Interior - fitout of a 2-story coldshell. An agressively low budget was set for this project. The fit out was 100% cubicles. The installed cubicles were manufactured by Teknion. The design and construction included a computer room, sales demo room, training room, computer labs, security control center, and lunchroom.
